ALAMO CITY RW WINS THREE AWARDS

At the Texas Federation of Republican Women's State Convention in Corpus Christi November 11-13 Alamo City RW won three awards. The first was the John Tower Achievment Award - this was for all of our programs, volunteer hours, charitable endeavours etc over the past 2 years. The second was for growing in membership a minimum of 10% over the past 2 years. Actually we are probably the only club that has grown consistently over the past 5 years! It is much more difficult to win percentage-wise when you become as large a club as we are. The third was for our Voter Registration Drive. The Associated Republicans of Austin gave a $500.00 award in 4 categories and we won it for the large club. What a lovely surprise!
