South Texas Republicans Leadership Award

Alamo City Republican Women had the honor of being the Presenting Sponsors for the South Texas Republicans Leadership Award Ceremony at the Plaza Club on 25th January. The honoree, Carol "Teddy" Peterson, received a huge bronze eagle in flight and accolades from her sons, husband, Dr. Doug Harlan, Joe Solis and U.S.Congressman Lamar Smith. Mrs. Peterson is one of the original grassroots Republican women who has been the backbone of the party in Texas, quietly working behind the scenes and getting no glory for her work.
