Valerie Corte was sworn in as State Representative for District 122 on April 17th in Austin at the Special Session. State Repr. Frank Corte, a Colonel in the US Marine Corps, is serving in Iraq and Valerie will serve in his position until he returns. Valerie, Frank, her mother Mary Ryder and Frank's mother Rose Corte are all long time members of Alamo City Republican Women.
